St. Lukes Lutheran Church

St. Lukes Lutheran Church is located in Alma, Virginia- which is only a 10 minute drive from Stanley. In this church lies Peter W. Roudabush and his wife Elizabeth Koontz Roudabush. Peter was the son of Jacob Roudabush- who lived in Elkton, VA., and is buried in Elk Run Cemetary. Their plot is easily seen from the parking lot in front of the church.
Peter's inscription says "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord". Elizabeth's inscription is too worn to read.
